How To Find Server's IP Address Of Any Website

    Friends I am going to tell you a trick with help of which you can easily Find out Server IP Address Of Any Website . This Process is known as Reverse IP Lookup . For this process you will not need any kind of software to be installed .
          While doing Reverse IP Lookup all we do is just we try to find out the IP address of server which is hosting the website . We can use this method to find out IP address of various websites like Facebook , Twitter , Instagram  and many more . You can know IP address and many more essence of any website with this method . There are numerous ways to know IP address of any website I am going to tell you some of that in this post so stay tuned and read till the end .

Method 1

Using Essential Ping Command

          In this method we use Ping command to locate IP address of any website .  So if you don’t have any idea about Ping command , let me tell you that Ping Command works on ICMP Protocol which is made for server address . Hence this command can be used to know the IP address of any website .

Step 1
Click on start and type cmd and then press enter.

Step 2
Now command prompt will get opened.

Step 3
Type ping site name (For ex:- ping google.co.in) .

Step 4
Now hit enter

          Now after doing all above steps you can see the IP address of the site and all trip details of the site location .

Method 2

Using Terminal In Linux And MAC

          Have a note that terminal is just same as Command Prompt but it is available in MAC and Linux with the name terminal .

Step 1
To open terminal press CTRL+ALT+T at the same time on keyboard .

Step 2
Now simply type ping –c1 sitename (For ex:- ping –c1 google.co.in)
   
          Now same as above method this will also show you IP address of the server of website .

Method 3

Using Network Utility In MAC




Step 1
Open Network Utility in your MAC .

Step 2
There you will find third tab named as Ping . Just click on it .

Step 3
Now enter the web address  of that website which you wanna Reverse Lookup For IP in the text field box .

Step 4
Click On Ping Button .

          This will automatically ping the site for you and you will get IP address of that site server .

Method 4

Using WHOIS System


          You can use any public website like whois.net or networksolutions.com to get complete details about any website .
           For this method all you have to do is just go to any website which offers WHOIS information to public and then search for the website you wanna Reverse Lookup For IP . You will get results like following .


Current Registrar: REGISTER.COM, INC.
IP Address: 207.241.148.80 (ARIN & RIPE IP search) . . .


Method 5

Using Online Websites For Reverse Lookup For IP


          Many online website helps you to find out IP address of any website . For that all you have to do is just copy and paste the web address of the website you want to Reverse Lookup For IP . And that’s it the site will show you all the information of that website .

Step 1
Open any website like www.site24x7.com and just paste or enter the web address of desired website you want to know the IP address of hosting server .

Step 2
Click on Test Now button .

          There you go you will be able to see all the details of the website .

          This is a simple tool which helps you to find out the IP Address of any hostname. It gives you the IPv4 address as well as IPv6 address. It is much-user friendly, all you have to do is just search for the website name and simply click on “Lookup IP Address” to find out the IP address of any website.

           HCI data is used to find the IP of a host machine (convert hostname to IP) or domain name (convert the domain name to IP address) or find the name of one of the hosts at an IP address (convert IP address). You have to just enter the website name in “Host Name” in order to find the IP address.


           Actually, Reverse IP Lookup method is used when there is a need to Retrace any site which includes some activities which we want to know about .  Also, sometime this Reverse IP address Lookup method is used to track the hackers and also to detect some of the phishing sites which may involve in some illegal activities on the internet .
